Thank you so much for your sugestions and advices. I have installed latest firmware (to the wifi unit, of course). I can't anyhow control the input TP link unit (base), so there is not any setting, only on the WiFi part. I'm betting it's the latter if you're already getting 150 Mbps on your browser, and in that case, your bottleneck would be elsewhere. Double-click your Ethernet adapter and see whether that shows 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps. of course laptop has an GB lan port.on the side of input TPlink device can't be also problem (also 1 Gbps LAN connection) when I can get the Gbps speeds on the second side. To see that, go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Where is the problem? Why I can get ony 100 Mbps when I use LAN port whilst almost 1 Gbps when by WiFi. Starhub International Speedtest is working and shows. Local speedtest by starhub is not working with this error: This page is for MaxOnline/MaxInfinity customers only.
LAN SPEED TEST SHOWS ONLY 90MBPS DOWNLOAD
2 weeks ago I upgraded my MaxInfinity 150Mbs to 300Mbps BUT still shows 90-95Mbps both download and upload. Looked under the ethernet properties in the network connection and saw that it was only set to 100.0mbps speed and not gigabit speed. Maxinfinity 300Mbps BUT speedtest shows 90Mbps only. My intel(R) Ethernet Controller I225-V is unable to work at 1GB or 2.5GB, which is whats advertised on the motherboard ROG-STRIX-Z490-E-GAMING, bought ve. Hey everyone Just got a Surface Dock for my SB and found that my internet speeds over ethernet were much lower than using Wifi. But when I use wifi (5Ghz network), I am able to get speed around 30 Mbps, which is way better then through the LAN port. Good day, Im having an issue which appears to be quite common, but none of the workarounds I could find in this forum or elsewhere seem to work. Even though the laptop shows, that the speed is 1 gbps, the real transfer speed is around 10 or 12 mbps (which refers to a 100 mbps network only).
LAN SPEED TEST SHOWS ONLY 90MBPS PC
The wifi unit I use for connection of some devices by air, but also I have connected there a notebook by LAN output. On one PC I get on the G5, 75 mbps download and 8.6 mbps on the upload and ping 114 ms (speed test) On the other PC with 2.4 mbps I get on average 16.8 download and 4.6 upload and ping 21 ms (speed test) Yet the speed between the 2 PC's does not. These two TP Link units are paired, the distance between them is around 15 meters. To the main (base) unit is plugged LAN income directly from GB router. the adapter settings limit its operation to 100 Mbps, or 3. the device Ethernet adapter is only rated for 100 Mbps, or 2. I am solving this problem with kit TL-WPA8630P. If by 'using LAN' you mean a device connected with an Ethernet cable, speeds limited to around 90 Mbps often mean either: 1.
